I didnt know what to expect from this place, we had been let down by another hotel in Tamworth and it was a last minute booking. I was pleasantly surprised, the room was nice, the pillows were soft and fluffy and I enjoyed the food. On the subject of food, it is predominantly curries in there and they tend to be on the hot side, I had a Bhuna and it was pretty spicy, my wife had a Methi and found that it was too spicy for her, the price for the food was very good, a curry for about a tenner is pretty cheap eats in my mind, the place gets busy and a lot of people seem to want their food quickly, its cooked fresh and takes a while, particularly when you have a lot of people all ordering at the same time

Very easy to find, very welcoming went above and beyond to help us out with a problem about being too early to book in so we could go to an event close by, but last booking in time was way before we would return to the premises. But they found a way round it for us. They didn't have to, but they did. They went out of their way to make us feel completely at home. If we attend the same event next year we will be looking at booking here again and anyone else that attends Bloodstock Festival or any events at Catton Park should do too.

The location was great for us visiting Tamworth Castle's festival events & park this weekend. We had room 18 at the rear of the building, next to the beer garden & free car park, which was very convenient. Our room didn't have air-conditioning however did have a fan which was sufficient for us. Breakfasts were great & varied & I thoroughly enjoyed my vegan curry for dinner on our last night. Kathy, Sarah, Angela & all of the team are so lovely, welcoming, helpful & friendly - a really good vibe, thanks all!👍🏻😁

Very smart rooms, looked to be newly refurbished. And extremely clean. Kath (the owner) and Sara were amazing. So friendly, kind and professional. They could not have done more to make our stay great. They work really hard to make you feel at home. Breakfast was delicious. We had a curry one evening too which was also very nice. On site parking was a bonus, be sure to give your number plate details to someone at the bar as the car park is not owned by the pub.

The staff were amazing! So friendly and helpful. The morning staff were particularly pleasant and helpful and the breakfasts were excellent, as were the rooms, which have a small fridge, a safe and ample tea/coffee making facilities. We have stayed there several times now and we would certainly not want to stay anywhere else in the Tamworth area. I just hope that they will always have rooms available when we're up that way. To sum up; absolutely brilliant.👏
